TOP TEN LISTS
97/100pts - a Profound/Classic Wine.  Three bottles tasted for consistency.  All Estate grown fruit.
97PTS HAYWOOD ESTATE, “LOS CHAMIZAL” VINEYARD, ZINFANDEL 2005 $35
97pts
verall-  Pouring in a polished style more reminiscent of a flagship, cult cabernet or first growth Bordelaise Wine than a little known zinfandel from the wildest reaches of the Mayacamas Mountains.  The “Los Chamizal” Vineyard has been a famous vineyard source with insiders in the Valley for a long time.  Suave and polished to the teeth, elegantly interwoven cassis, boysenberry, cedar box, mint, bramble, dates and mint.  The finesse and silkiness of this wine can’t be overstated. The best kept secret in California.  Better than many $100+ Cabernets out there.  Our little secret.
