88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc,
1% Malbec.
Composed, embracing and evenly blanketing the palate, a staunch, benchland Cabernet
that clutches and undresses firm, polished layers of mineralized black fruit underlined
by a sweeping streak of raspberry mocha cafe and black cola. Clearly displaying
the Basaltic terroir and bold, black minerality of Shocken Hill; it is a varietally
correct wine, deeply layered, with classic tannins, modern-
Serving: Decant for 15 minutes and serve now or cellar from 2012 to 2015. Best served alone or with heavier, grilled cuisine.
